Hanumangarh 24x7 water supply scheme

Project description The project will introduce innovations in water supply, such as continuous water supply, and long-term O&M embedded construction contracts for non-revenue water (NRW) reduction and sustainability of operations. The Local Self Government Department (LSGD) is the executing agency and Rajasthan Urban Infrastructure Development Project (RUIDP) is the implementing agency.

Project description According to information, several tube-wells in the city lift water from a depth of about 600 feet. In view of depleting groundwater, the officials felt the need for the surface water supply project in the city.
