(a) Topographical survey of Pithoragarh town using DGPS and Total station for mapping major drains flowing in the city (for X, Y and Z coordinates)

(b) Data collection including Rainfall data from Disaster Management and city data (base map) and water flow profile (water stream) of the city

(c) Mapping of existing natural and major drains (Katcha, pucca/ constructed) with X-section and L-section of the drains

(d) Catchment formation using GIS modelling and population projections using census data

(e) Zoning of the town using natural terrain and city profile (Bajeti and Rai zones)

(f) Analysis of Coefficient of Runoff (C) value of the town using different landuse of the city (and Digital Elevation Plan – DEM) to conclude flow Time (Inlet and time of concentration), and flow direction

(g) Drain network design on advanced software (Bentley’s SewerGEMS) based on CPHEEO Manual and IRC codes

(q) Preparation of Master Plan using GIS map

(r) Coordination with Pithoragarh Nagar Palika and other concerned department and Head office, Irrigation Department, Uttarakhand (s) Submitted draft DPR and GIS based Master Plan
